Felt, Thought, and Seen: The Beauty of Things
with Dr. Brett L. Erickson
Sundays from March 3rd to March 31st, 2024
6:00 PM - 8:00 PM Central Time
OVERVIEW:
This course is designed for people who have always wanted to deepen their understanding of the thought, metaphor, and meaning in photography and what makes for a compelling, enduring photograph.
Brett will guide you in a small group setting through critiques, feedback sessions, and assigned reading materials. Each lesson will use examples to illustrate concepts, and then we will look at a single selection of your work.
The first hour will consist of lecture and discussion, and the second hour will be dedicated to critiques. This class will not feature intensive critiques, and weekly assignments will be given out that will focus on the quality of a single image, rather than quantity.
The class is designed for you to grab a glass of wine and tune in, in a “family-style” setting.
Lessons will take place on Sundays between 6:00PM~8:00PM Central Time via Zoom. Please note that Daylight Savings Time kicks in on March 10th! Video recordings will be provided if you miss any lessons, and will be available for you to go back and watch at any time.
