Additional Notes/Class Requirements:
While not required, it is advisable as photographers working toward a professional skillset to be able to use proper black-and-white post-processing software. In this class, we will use Silver Efex Pro from the Nik Collection4 by DxO Labs.
Special Discount Offer: Please use THIS LINK and the code: GeorgeWorkshop15 at checkout to receive 15% off any DxO Product until March 31, 2022. This discount will not work through the regular page without this link. Please select Nik Collection 4 software (which includes Silver Efex Pro among 8 software titles in one set). This software will work as a plug-in to Lightroom or Photoshop and does not require any subscription, just a one-time purchase. You are also welcome to take advantage and use the discount code to acquire the other applications on offer. In addition to Nik Collection 4, the most recommended software is PhotoLab 5, and if you like creative treatments, FilmPack 6. Don’t buy PureRAW at this time - we will tell you why later.
*George, who is the official DxO Japan webinar instructor, will lead a tutorial on SilverEfex Pro and how to use it (perhaps on Sunday, March 20th). If it’s of interest to the group, he can also lead tutorials on the other DxO products for a small, nominal fee if desired. Let’s talk about this once class begins.
