忘れられない元旦

この度の能登半島地震と津波で被災された方々には心からお見舞い申し上げます。

能登との関わり

私が能登半島を初めて訪れたのは2015年のことで、その絶景と静寂でどこか神秘たる日常風景、温かくて陽気な人々をとても魅力的に思いました。そしてその後何年もの間、能登半島は私たちと一緒にワークショップに参加するために来日する海外のフォトグラファーの友人たちのお気に入りの目的地ともなりました。実際、アーサー・マイヤーソンと私が率いる写真家グループは、今回の災害が起こる数週間前の12月中旬に能登を訪れたばかりでした。私たちは皆、この出来事に深い悲しみを覚え、訪れたばかりの場所の現在の報道写真に衝撃を受け、私たちが出会い、共に笑い、共に食べ、共に酒を酌み交わした人々が無事であることを切に願っている。

私はただ一人の写真家に過ぎないですが、何かをしようと、"Art for Noto “というプログラムを立ち上げました。今回の第１シリーズでは、2015年から2023年にかけて能登を訪れた際に撮影した12枚の写真を10枚ずつプリントします。それぞれ、A4サイズのアーカイバル・マットペーパー（エプソン・ベルベット・ファインアートまたはハーネミューレ・フォトラグ）にファインアート・ピグメントプリントを作成します。各プリントにはナンバーが入りますが、エディションはオープンです。プリントのタイトルや場所を記載したサイン入りステッカーカードは、お好きなフレームの裏（各自ご用意ください）に貼っていただけます(または一緒に展示できます）。

用紙、インク、作成時間、クレジットカード手数料（海外対象）、発送用品は私が用意します。プリントは、日本からの国際郵便を受け取れる国であれば、世界中*に発送可能です。送料を除くすべての収益は、救援活動に寄付されます（詳細は下記をご覧ください）。

Terms & Conditions

This program will run from January 14, 2024 (JST) until December 1, 2024, or when prints are sold out.

Overseas residents - The cost of each print will be $100 US + $25 shipping per order. 100% of net proceeds will be donated to the Japanese Red Cross Ishikawa Prefecture Branch and the Ishikawa Prefecture Community Chest of Japan. Please see this link for more information. In the interests of full transparency, we will make donations under the name “Nobechi Creative” so that participants in “Art for Noto” can confirm that all
funds are being donated as promised.

Japanese residents - our page is set up only for receiving US dollar payments. In the interests of maintaining trust and transparency through the process, please do not purchase the prints through our page. Instead, please donate directly to one of the
two organizations listed above in the amount of ¥ 14,000 or greater, with your full legal name, and email us with your choice of print(s) (each print requires a minimum of ¥14,000 per donation, hence two prints would be ¥28,000, three prints ¥42,000, etc.), proof of payment, donation name, phone number, and shipping address to info@nobechicreative.com. Please note that the initial Series One will only have ten prints of each image, on a first-come, first-served basis including overseas participants. We apologize if your choice is not available at the time of your participation. We
may offer more prints in Series Two if there is enough demand, so please let us know your preference if so. Prints within Japan will be mailed via Letter Pack Lite. You do not need to pay for postage.

海外在住の場合 - プリント代金は1枚につき100USドル＋送料25ドルとなります。純益の100%は日本赤十字社石川県支部および石川県共同募金会に寄付されます。詳しくはURLをご覧ください。また、「Art for Noto」の参加者が、すべての寄付金が約束通り寄付されていることを確認できるよう、透明性を確保するため、「Nobechi Creative」名義で寄付を行います。

日本にお住まいの場合- 当ページの決済システムは、米ドルでのお支払いのみを受け付けております。詐欺などの問題が多くあるこの時世に、皆様との信頼と透明性を維持するために、このページからプリントを購入しないでください。代わりに、日本赤十字社石川県支部または石川県共同募金会の2つの団体のいずれかに直接、14,000円以上の寄付をお願いします。石川県公式の義援金ページから振込先などの詳細を確認いただけます。

振込完了後、お名前をフルネームでお書き添えいただき、ご希望のプリント（1枚につき最低14,000円の寄付が必要ですので、2枚ご希望の場合は28,000円以上、3枚で42,000円以上などとなります）、お支払いの証明（ご自身の口座番号は必ず削除または黒塗りしてください）、電話番号、プリントのお届け先のご住所を明記の上、info@nobechicreative.com　までメールを送っていただくよう願います。

なお、初回のシリーズ1は、海外からの参加者も含め、先着順で各写真10枚のみのプリントとなります。参加時にご希望のプリントが入手できない場合はご容赦ください。なお、ご要望があればシリーズ２にてプリント枚数を追加で増やす可能性がありますので、ご希望をお知らせください。日本国内のプリントはレターパックライトで郵送します。送料は不要です。

FAQ

• What if I want to contribute more than $100 per print? Can I do that?

  Yes - please add an “additional donation, no print needed” item to your cart ($50 or $100 increments - add as many units as you wish)

• Will I get a receipt that is tax deductible in my home country?
  You will be issued a receipt that says “Art for Noto charitable contribution” with the amount of your purchase. However, tax laws differ by country when it comes to overseas donations. Please note that Nobechi Creative is acting as a facilitator for the donations, but is not itself a charitable organization and participate accordingly.

• Can I purchase multiple prints and save on shipping?
  Yes, that is possible. Please make sure that you select one unit of shipping at checkout per address.

• When can I expect to receive my print?
  Prints will begin to be shipped in February. Arrival dates will vary by country/region.

• I want to buy one of the prints, but it appears to be sold out. What should I do?
  If there is enough demand, we may release more prints in Series Two or beyond, but we may not get there. Please consider one of the other beautiful print choices.

• The mail service ruined my print. Can I get a refund?
  We are sorry, but we cannot issue refunds as the funds will be donated to the charities on a monthly basis. We will endeavor to package the prints safely in padded envelopes, with “Do not fold” written on them, but we cannot guarantee their safe arrival. Please send us photographs of your damaged envelope and damaged print and
  we will replace it with another - please note that your first choice may not be available, and we do apologize if that is the case.

• プリントはいつ届きますか？
  プリントの発送は2 月から開始します。到着日は国や地域によって異なります。

• プリントを購入したいのですが、欲しい写真が売り切れのようです。どうすればいいですか？
  十分な需要があれば、シリーズ2 以降に追加でプリントをリリースする可能性もありますが、そ こまでは至らないかもしれません。他の美しいプリントの選択もご検討ください。

• 輸送サービスが私のプリントを台無しにしてしまいました。払い戻しはできますか？
  申し訳ございませんが、お預かりした金額（海外の場合）は、毎月チャリティー団体に寄付され
  ますので、返金はできません。プリントは「折らないでください」と書かれたクッション付きの
  封筒で安全に梱包するよう努めますが、無事到着することを保証するものではありません。破損
  した封筒と破損したプリントの写真をお送りいただければ、別のプリントと交換させていただき
  ます。＊その場合違う写真になるかもしれないことをご了承ください。
