Lighting with Purpose: A Portraiture Class
with Allen Clark
One of the most important skills in portrait photography is time management. Whether you are photographing a celebrity, who may only have five minutes for you to make your images, or whether you are asking a model to pose for you, how do you prepare your lighting so you can focus on gaining trust and making the most of your time? Allen Clark will not only answer important questions such as these, he will share with you the techniques and skills he uses, to help you prepare your lighting quickly and efficiently so that you can maximize your time and get the results you want no matter the circumstances.
Join us for a special three-day intensive workshop with Allen Clark, a commercial and advertising photographer based in Nashville, Tennessee for a unique portraiture class that focuses on lighting with a purpose. With over 25 years of experience, Allen will walk you through portrait photography and what it takes to light with intent.
Allen will begin this workshop focusing on planning and visualizing your concepts. Next, he will teach technique and lighting style. Through class discussion, lectures and critiques, Allen will cover the basics to get you started and feeling confident to light a portrait professionally.
